Learning for Life

Learning for Life is an educational program that is conducted in schools and other community-based organizations. It helps youth meet the challenges of growing up by teaching character and good decision-making skills and then linking those skills to the real world. Unlike traditional Boy Scout programs, this program is available to boys and girls of all ages. The programs are available for kindergarten through high school.  The Tuscarora Council currently offers Learning for Life programs at:

  • Carver Elementary School, Brogden Elementary School, Fremont Stars Elementary School in Wayne County
  • Union Elementary School in Sampson County
  • Smithfield West Elementary School, Smithfield Selma High School and Polenta Elementary School in Johnston County
