Cub Scouts

What is Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are about 7 to 10-years-old (generally first through fifth grade).  During their meetings, boys enjoy games, stunts, songs, crafts and ceremonies. Cub Scouts also take part in field trips, service projects and outdoor activities. Webelos, an acronym for “We'll Be Loyal Scouts,” is for boys in the fourth and fifth grades. Boys work on activity badges that are part of an advancement program.  The Tuscarora Council supports more than 60 Cub Scout packs.
